I’ve been writing since I could hold a pencil, playing Harriet the Spy with the world, jotting down every thought, observation, and wondering. I’ve written poetry about sticks, stories about spaceships crash-landing on invented planets, and tales of anthropomorphized socks. I wrote a column for my college newspaper (The Bevilled Edge), articles for multiple magazines, and I’ve been “blogging” in some form since 2004 (from MySpace to Blogspot and Facebook to here on Substack), with boxes of cheap spiral notebooks from childhood to early parenthood stacked in the garage.

There is always, always, always something to write about.
